This is why personalised artworks also make such great gifts and a way to remember special occasions or memories!

Please continue to read below the steps in the commissioning process.

The Commissioning steps

1.

Get in touch and send an email! Please include in your email:

  • The size you are expecting and what it is being used for.
  • The details of your design idea, including what you want in your design, if it is black and white, coloured and any questions that you may have. It would also be helpful if you are able to send photographs of anything you want included, or reference images that help explain your idea further.
  • Once decisions and ideas have been clarified and sketches have been confirmed, I will then require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the booking.
  • When the payment has been received I will start working on your design. You can watch the whole design and drawing process online on my social media accounts. If you want it to be kept a secret until completed, please do let me know and I will make sure that I won't make any posts on the design until after you have received the finished product.

2.

When the design is complete, I will send you a small image of the completed design so that you are able to see it before hand. The other 50% payment will need to be made before the physical item is sent.

3.

Enjoy your new original artwork. The artwork will be signed by myself and will come with a Certificate of Authenticity. The product will be sent in either a hard backed envelope with extra thick card for protection or a postal tube, depending on its size. It will be sent tracked and signed for and tracking number will be given to you so that we can both watch its journey to you.

Other Information

Please be aware that the price varies dependent on how big the piece is and how detailed it is. For example, a design that is A3 (11.7 x 16.5 in) in size is going to be a higher price than A4 (8.3 x 11.7 in). The same as one A3 (11.7 x 16.5 in) may be a different price to another of the same size because they have more details which will take longer to do.

I get requests on commissions on a daily basis and as much as I would love to do each and every one, it is impossible to take them all, so therefore I am selective on the projects I take on. However, do not let this put you off, please do still get in touch with your ideas and enquiries.

  • Full Sleeve Design

This was one of my first ever commissions and it was a big project! It took 35 hours in total to draw.

They wanted a design that was unique and personal to them. this included an Angel looking down on them, a quote that felt personal to them, the time of the birth of their Nephew, music from one of their favourite songs, their favourite flower and a unique skyline made from iconic buildings from different countries that they had visited.

This was then sent to Dubai.

  • The Man From Mars

I was requested to make a David Bowie piece of art as they wanted to gift it to someone for their birthday who were a big fan of Bowie. As he was also known as "The Man From Mars" I decided to create a space looking background to pull the image together rather than just a portrait. The lightning bolt make-up is iconic in the days of Bowie and therefore I did not want this to be lost in the background and so was added in colour. This was sent to the UK.

  • The Fallen Angel

This person came forward with an idea that they wanted to later use as a tattoo design. They had gone through some hardships and wanted this design to show that time is a healer and that they are, in fact, strong. The design was A2 (16.5 x 23.4 in) in size and then sent to the USA.

  • BMX World

Years ago I was asked to design a tattoo for Simone Christensen, BMX champion. Their love for BMX had taken them all over the world. They then went on to be the European BMX Champion and competed in the 2016 Rio Olympics and 2020 Tokyo Olympics (Held in 2021 due to Covid-19). They had taken inspiration from one of my older pieces of work that I posted, but instead wanted to replace the clock with a BMX wheel, replace some of the beads with a bike chain and include the world map. This is now tattooed on their leg and is an honour to see. This was then sent to Denmark.

  • Battle of the Houses

This was one of my largest commissions to date, measuring at A1 (23.4 x 33.1 in) taking 125 hours in total to complete. Made for a Game of Thrones fanatic, we decided to have the houses battle it out in the form of the animal or thing that represented that house. Due to particular circumstances, the design was left behind and after a while was handed over to a member of the family instead where it now stands proudly on their living room wall in the UK.

  • Coloured Full Sleeve Design

I may not do coloured work often, but it doesn't mean I never create coloured pieces. This person came to me with an idea that they wanted for a full sleeve. They wanted to create a flower garden to cover their arm including all the flowers that represent themselves and other members of the family. The butterflies were to represent those that have passed. Due to it being fully coloured, the design took over 40 hours to create. This was then sent to the USA.
